## What is Amyloidosis?

Amyloidosis is a rare disease in which misfolded proteins (amyloid) accumulate in organs and tissues. These deposits can impair the normal function of various organs. Early diagnosis and treatment are crucial for disease progression.

### **Rare Disease**

Amyloidosis affects only a few people and is often diagnosed late.

### **Multiple Types**

There are different forms such as AL, AA, ATTR amyloidosis with different causes.

### **Early Detection Important**

The earlier amyloidosis is detected, the better the treatment options.

### **Affects Multiple Organs**

Heart, kidneys, nerves and other organs can be affected.
